Up for Sale, Piper SB-1006 Fuel Tank Inspection Kit Both Wing Tanks , NO Fuel Tank Screws. PA28-151 (S/N 7415001 to 7415642) This kit is a complete kit for both wing tanks with fuel hoses, gaskets, treatment, etc, in the original packaging and has never been used. I bought the kit for my 1974 Piper Warrior in July of 2009. Every year when the plane comes up for annual i was planning on installing this kit and just never got around to it. the Kit has been stored in a dry closet for the last 4 years. Service Bulletin #SB-1006 is highly recommended every 7 years or 2000 hours of life, especially if the plane is, or has been anywhere near the ocean or corrosive environment in its lifetime. The Kit Cost $519 new from AirWard. The Kit comes with Printouts of SB-1006 and SB-1244A and all other original paperwork. This Kit has everything included to complete SB-1006 on both tanks. the kit # is PA28 151E BNS.
- Inspect for corrosion and treat the spar areas behind the fuel tanks
- Replace fuel/vent lines that are now very old and brittle
