Original, charming old Cadillac Piston, I have been using as a pen holder on my desk, but could be used as a piston
Brand:Cadillac or Cord Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Placement on Vehicle:Front Other Part Number:CadillacPiston-001 Surface Finish:Alloy

Forty years ago, a customer brought in a Cord for service that had been fitted with a Cadillac V8 engine and converted to rear wheel drive. He gave me this piston, which I believe was from the Cadillac, though it could have been from the Cord engine. Any advice to identify would be appreciated.I have used it on my desk ever since, to hold pens, but am cleaning my desk Note, this could probably be used in an engine, but shows wear marks on 2 sides that should be knurled, if used in an engine. It follows a £100m investment from parent DRB-HICOM earlier in 2013.

Fri, 04 Apr 2014

Apart from having possibly the coolest name of any current hypercar and looking like a Storm Trooper's wheels of choice, the Trion Nemesis is attracting attention for another reason – its 2,000hp engine. At double the level of power produced by a Bugatti Veyron, that ought to deliver some mind-bending performance. Please click on the image above to read more on the Trion Nemesis
