Audi A4 2.0 TDIe Revealed

Audi has released details of their third 'e' car - The Audi A4 2.0 TDIe In another in the series of ‘Here’s an even lower emission model than the last one’ series, Audi has announced details of the Audi A4 2.0 TDIe, a 2.0 litre A4 which manages to cut emissions and lower fuel consumption. The A4 TDIe will supplement the existing A4 2.0 litre TDI range – 118bhp, 141bhp and 158bhp – and becomes the third Audi to get the ‘e’ badge – the others being the Audi A3 1.9 TDIe and the Audi A6 2.0 TDIe Audi’s range of TDIe cars use a very similar route to other manufacturers to achieve some pretty spectacular headline figures. This new A4 2.0 TDIe gets the same frugal engine as the A6 2.0 TDIe, which offers 134bhp from it 2.0 litre common-rail diesel.

Volkswagen to reveal new electric car concept

Volkswagen is due to reveal a one-seat electric car concept in early September as the manufacturer explores its greener future. Part of the on-going project to cut its average fleet emissions  Volkswagen has designed the concept vehicle for limited journeys, with the vehicle due to be unveiled on September 8 in Berlin. There's no word yet as to whether it will appear at the Frankfurt motor show just a few days later, but we'd be surprised not to see it there.

22,500 sales so far in 2013 from Maserati, thanks to cars like the Ghibli (pictured) When Sergio Marchionne revealed in 2011 that he wanted Maserati sales to hit 50,000 a year by 2015, we were all very sceptical. After all, Maserati were only managing fewer than 6,000 sales a year at that time, so a target of 50,000 a year seemed mad. But it’s starting to look a distinct possibility.
