This is a Piston Ring set for a Jaguar 4.2 both high and low compression. AE Piston Number 18395, 19885, 21379 and 21380 These ring sets contain compression rings which are manufactured to precision specifications from high grade castings. The rings are beveled on the inside top, which gives a torsional twist characteristic or relieved on the lower ridge for oil scraping characteristics. This second ring type is generally used in the second groove. Oil rings are of either circumferential design or Grants patented channel oil ring, both of which provide quick seating, positive oil control and long life. All Grant rings are parkerized to protect the ring, improve lubrication and to initiate a quicker seal. This product is new, still sealed in original packaging and instructions included. Thu, 17 Jun 2010Land Rover might only have revised the Range Rover last summer, but there’s now a new version, complete with a bigger and better 4.4-litre TDV8, plus it's available as a limited-run Autobiography Black special edition to celebrate the car’s 40th birthday. For a start the engine has grown from 3.6 to 4.4-litres, but still retains the twin sequential turbochargers. That means 309bhp (up from 267bhp), while the torque figures climbs from 472lb ft to 516lb ft.

But New York turns out to have been vital in the history of car design, as I found researching an exhibition Cars, Culture and the City at the Museum of the City of New York as guest curator over the last few months, working with the museums curator architecture and design, Donald Albrecht.
