Up for auction is a brand new set of Pistons with pins & Piston Rings. Please see below for more details and pictures. These are available in several sizes: STD, and .020, .030, & .060 oversizes. Upon purchasing these pistons and rings, please be sure to contact us through eBay messages and let us know which oversize you need. These will fit the following:

1954-56 Oldsmobile 324ci V8

Standard Bore Size: 3 7/8 inches

Piston Type: Precision Cast Aluminum

Compression Ratio: 8.25 : 1 or 9.25 : 1 which is to OEM specs with stock heads (will differ when different heads are used)

Compression Height: 1 7/8 inches

Piston Pin Diameter: .9805 inches

***NOTE: Pistons are NOT suitable for racing or engines with Aftermarket Multi-Carburetion***

Volvo Concept Coupe (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

The Swedes have done emotional coupes before – like the C70 and the legendary P1800 – but the Volvo Concept Coupe is the first from its new designer, Thomas Ingenlath. Recruited from VW, Ingenlath says that the concept, which is underpinned by the new SPA platform (which stands for Scalable Platform Architecture) that will be used on the 2014 XC90, is both a nod to the past and a signal of intent for the future. You’ll be able to see it at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

Hyundai to expand U.S. engine production

Hyundai Motor Co. will spend $173 million to expand its engine plant in Alabama to build more four-cylinder engines. The expansion work is set to be complete this fall and production is set to begin in March 2012.
