Wed, 28 Dec 20112012 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 revealed in Japan Toyota has revealed the facelift for the 2012 Land Cruiser V8 in Japan. The European version will debut in Brussels next month. Just to be clear, it’s the Toyota Land Cruiser V8 that’s had a facelift and appeared in Japan, not the smaller Land Cruiser we also have in the UK (which gets called the Land Cruiser Prado in other markets).

Named after the Phoenix platform underpinning many of the company's future products including next year's new 9-3, the concept car is a dramatic coupe. It’s the first time we've seen the California with its folding hard-top erected, and extra snippets of information - like the size of the 2+2 - have now been announced. Its 4560mm length puts the California midway between an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9, while the Ferrari’s 1900mm width means it is wider than both Brits.
