Interior Motives announces shortlist for Student Design Awards 2009

Interior Motives magazine, sister publication of Car Design News, has revealed its shortlist for the seventh annual Interior Motives Design Awards. Handed down by a ten-strong panel of industry experts, the shortlist will be further reviewed before three finalists and a winner for each of the eight categories - and the overall competition winner - is ultimately selected and awarded on the eve of the second press day of the Frankfurt auto show. Lotus makes double debuts at Pebble Beach

Lotus has a big presence at this week's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance events, with the Evora GTE Road Car concept making its world premiere and the limited-production Matte Black Final Edition of the Exige making a U.S. debut. 2013 Ford SVT Raptor to offer more off-road options

Ford will offer some unique upgrades for its off-road terror, the F-150 SVT Raptor, in the 2013 model year. According to Ford, the truck will offer an industry-first—beadlock wheels direct from the factory. Beadlocks allow the driver to secure the edges of the tire to the wheel by clamping the tire between the wheel and a beadlock ring kit from Ford Racing.
