Skoda Ocatvia vRS gets a new face

Skoda Octavia vRS gets a facelift and a titivate to bring it in line with the rest of the range In keeping with the changes made to the rest of the Octavia range late last year, Skoda has now rolled out the new look for the vRS (and the Scout) to bring the family looks to the whole range. Chrysler previews SEMA with four sketches

Chrysler is bringing its full weight to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas on Nov. 5-8. The Pentastar brand will have at least 20 modified Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat and SRT vehicles to highlight its more than 15,000 square-foot exhibit.

BMW 7-series models hit by recall

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall of 45,500 BMW 7-series sedans in the 2005-2008 model year range. The recall, which has its origins in a NHTSA investigation initiated in August 2011, addresses a software malfunction that may cause vehicles to roll away when parked. A glitch in the BMW Comfort Access keyless-entry and ignition system is responsible for the problem.
