I love old cars

I guess you do too, or you wouldn't be reading this

It's time for me to dispose of my "Stash"of automotive memoribilia

In 1946, my Dad was a General Manager for a Dodge/Plymouth dealer and I acquired a lot of Propaganda

Here is an absolutely fantastic 13 Page Manual regarding the 1946 Plymouth issued to Salesman entitled -

Whats New since '42

NOW!

IT'S PLYMOUTH

This Manual is fantastic in applauding the most mundane auto specs & the hypocracy of lauding  such things as a 6.8 lb compression engine and praising advantages of an "L Head" Engine against an "Over Head Valve" Engine

You'll find the manual very amusing

Other than some doodling I put on the back cover, as a nine year old, the Manual is in great Condition

I have many more Owner's & Service Manuals, as well as Promotional Brochures

ENG Automotive Design Summit 2005

Tue, 26 Apr 2005

A sunny Stockholm was the venue for the 3rd Automotive Design Summit organised by European Networking Group (ENG) and this year the event, for the first time, was supported by Car Design News. The summit took place April 18-19 in the stylish Clarion Hotel in the heart of Stockholm, close to the 'Gamla Stan' or old town, and was enjoyed by around sixty delegates from the international automotive design community. The two-day summit opened with an interesting introduction by Sebastien Rosel, Product Manager from Dassault Systemes on the new Catia V5 software.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage ends & big changes afoot at Aston Martin

Sat, 04 May 2013

Launched as a limited edition V12 Vantage in 2009, by 2010 Aston decided there was enough demand to make the V12 Vantage a proper part of Aston’s standard offerings, and since then it’s been the same. The V12 Vantage has also spawned a Roadster version (which, we think, stays in production – at least for now) and the slightly bonkers V12 Zagato, which conspired to look a bit too extreme for an Aston and cost an arm and a leg. We know that AM sold around 1200 V12 Vantage Coupes, around 100 V12 Vantage Roadsters and a handful of V12 Zagatos, but now the run is at an end and we do wonder if there will be a replacement?

Porsche Panamera to debut at Shanghai

Mon, 05 Jan 2009

Porsche Panamera will debut in Shanghai in April It’s a sign of the growing importance of the Chinese market that Porsche has chosen to launch the car officially in China. Even the Chinese car market is suffering at the moment, but the simple fact is that with such a huge population, and a Chinese DNA that seems to predispose them to commerce now they are allowed to ‘Trade’ once again, there will probably be more potential Porsche buyers in China in the next 10 years than in the rest of the world combined. So suck-up now seems a good motto.
