This auction is for a Pair of early 1970's or Mid to Late 1960's Point style Distributor Aftermarket Points set and condenser for Big and Small Block V8 Mopar Engine Distributors that was purchased in a box of MOPAR parts and the rest of them were from Barracuda and Challenger cars. These would fit Most other Pre Electronic Ignition Plymouth, Chrysler, and Dodge cars and trucks.  This application would include Barracuda, Cuda, Challenger, Challenger R/T, Charger, and SE, Coronet Super Bee, Road Runner, Belvedere, Satellite, and Sport Satellite.   These are aftermarket parts and are the Standard Brand and the points set is part number CH-14V and the condenser and bracket are part number AL 111.  Good luck bidding and have fun.

Ford Escape, Fusion get software fix

Ford says it has developed a fix for the potential engine fire problem that prompted it to recall nearly 90,000 copies of the new Escape and Fusion with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. Ford traced the problem to a glitch in the engine software that could lead to an engine fire in the event of pressure dropped in the cooling system. So dealers will update the software on the recalled vehicles.

McLaren F1 designer signs on with Florida start-up

A small Florida company with hopes of making green performance cars has landed a big name. Rivian Automotive said this week that it has signed on Peter Stevens--the designer of the McLaren F1--as its director of design. It hopes to bring its first car to market in 2013 and launch more in 2014.

Scion introduces FR-S Release Series

Scion introduced the first FR-S Release Series car, “drawing on track heritage and the expertise of Toyota Racing Development" at the New York auto show. The biggest change on the FR-S Release Series is the custom-designed aerodynamic work, including the front lip, rear spoiler and side skirts. It also gets Toyota Racing Development quad exhaust, lowering springs and a smart key with push-button start.
