Chrome 4-piston calipers for 1978-1983 models with 10" rotors.  I bought these on ebay last year but never used them--the seller was wrong about the fitment when he sold them; I should have done a little more research...If you have any questions, please call PM's technical dep't.  at 714-523-3000.  They're super helpful and always willing to talk about their products; just ask them about the maodel number I've listed.  You can also download installation instructions at:  hXXp://performancemachine.com/tech/installation.html  Please do your homework--no returns.

These have the chrome finish--there's a little pitting on the underside of the left caliper (see photo).  There's a lot of thickness left on the pads--these are ready to bolt up, bleed, and go!  Make sure you have 10" rotors!  Free shipping.

BMW i3 tops Sunday Times best Electric Cars list

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

The BMW i3 EV tops Sunday Times best Electric Cars list Just as they did with the new Range Rover last year, the Sunday Times has declared the new BMW i3 EV the pick of the bunch of electric and hybrid cars on sale in the UK, despite the i3 not yet arriving on UK roads. But there seems a good chance that the Sunday Times have got it right this time too, just as they did with the new Range Rover. The Sunday Times praised BMW for biding its time with the launch of their first electric and range-extender car (the next, the BMW i8 supercar, will arrive in 2014) and said the i3′s big appeal lies not in its cutting edge electric motor or battery technology – because there isn’t any – but in its appeal as a car even without its EV powertrain.

GM sued for not recalling nonpolice Chevrolet Impalas to fix spindle rods

Wed, 06 Jul 2011

General Motors has been sued by the owner of a Chevrolet Impala who claims the company recalled police versions of the sedan to fix a tire-wear issue but did not recall civilian Impalas for the same problem. According to the suit, filed in Detroit, GM issued a recall for police Impalas in 2008 for faulty spindle rods, which misaligned the rear wheels and led to premature tire wear. GM told dealers to replace the spindle rods, realign the rear wheels and replace the tires.
