This silencer reduces weight by 5 1/2 pounds delivering you the weight savings you desire and requires no fuel system modifications. It also maintains low sound level emissions utilizing ERA 2007 Silencing Technology and is finished with ceramic coating. SLP tested and passed SAE J-2567 stationary sound test below 88 decibles.

This silencer is not compatible with SLP Single Pipe.

Supermarkets cut fuel prices

LATE SUMMER driving will be less expensive following supermarket fuel price cuts. From tomorrow Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco are all reducing the cost of their petrol and diesel by 2p a litre. In Asda's case, the reduction means its customers will pay no more than 126.7p a litre for petrol, with diesel being 129.7p a litre - its lowest price since January 2011.

Volkswagen CC four-door to get R-Line trim

Volkswagen will add the R-Line trim level to the CC four-door in the United States. Powered by VW's 200-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the CC R-Line will launch at the Auto Mobil International show in Leipzig, Germany, on June 1. The car will arrive in U.S.

Ecclestone wants to bring the noise

FORMULA ONE supremo Bernie Ecclestone has vowed to address growing concerns surrounding the sport's lack of an appealing noise. Following Sunday's season-opening Australian Grand Prix, Ron Walker, chairman of the organising company that stages the race, complained to close friend Ecclestone about the lack of sound. The piercing scream of the old V8 engine has gone, and in its place we now have a huskier tone, complete with whistles and whirrs from the 1.6-litre V6 turbo as F1 tries to become greener.
