SLP LIGHTWEIGHT SILENCER 09-299

POLARIS
2011-12 800 Assault, Switchback Assault, RMK

This lightweight silencer for the 2011-12 Polaris 800 reduces weight by 3.25 pounds. It's slim design and ceramic coating reduces underhood heat as well as gives more clearance from the side panel. It also has a more positive silencer to belly pan seal to insure exhaust gases cannot re-enter the underhood area. It features ERA 2007 Silencing Technology and passes SAE J-2567 stationary sound test below 88 decibels.

This silencer is not compatible with SLP Single Pipe.

However, a chunk of the criticisms levelled at the Insight were addressed by Honda last month when it revealed its nips and tucks for the Insight for 2012.

BID TO SLOW TRAFFIC ON M3 STRETCH

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

FIRST it was a stretch of the M1 and now the same speed reduction plan has been announced for a stretch of the M3 motorway in Surrey and Hampshire. The Highways Agency (HA) has proposed that a three-mile section of the M3 between junction 3 at Lightwater in Surrey and junction 4 near Farnborough in Hampshire be subject to a 60mph restriction. This section is part of a 13.4-mile stretch that is being upgraded in a £174 million scheme, with the 60mph proposal, to operate between 7am and 7pm daily so air quality levels can be met.
