Set of front wheels and tires.  Wheels are straight; tires still have some tread and hold air although one seems to have a very slow leak.  Both tires have dry rot cracks as you can see in the pictures.

Removed from a  1999 Polaris 500 Sportsman  Will fit other years and maybe other models, but check with a dealer before bidding.  Unless listed in the description all different fitments are the buyers responsibility to either contact a dealer or research before bidding.  All parts sold as is/pictured.  Bearings, seals, and bulbs are normal wear items and may need servicing or replacing.

Car makers to be forced to disclaim ‘Official’ economy figures

We’ve banged on for a long time about the futility of official economy figures, especially as car makers get better and better at ‘gaming’ the official economy tests to produce the results they want. Much of the impetus to create the best headline economy figure for a car is driven by taxation, with car makers well aware that the better the official economy results are, the lower their CO2 will be (CO2 isn’t tested for – it’s just extrapolated from the official mpg) and the more appealing the car will be to buyers, particularly fleet buyers. But a ruling by the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) against Audi could at least see car makers having to admit in their adverts that the ‘official’ economy figure bears no relation to what owners can expect to achieve in the real world.

Facelift for the 2013 BMW 5 Series We knew the next BMW News would be the arrival of a facelift for the 5 Series, especially after BMW accidentally previewed it with a configurator that went online too early. But now the 5 Series facelift is here, and what it lacks in real changes BMW has made up for in photos – they’ve sent us over 200 photos of the new 5 Series – Saloon, Touring and GT – maybe in the hope that a mass of photos will make us think the changes are extensive. They’re not.
