Vauxhall to launch sub-£7k city car
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Vauxhall is believed to be working on a budget city car to rival the Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 108 and Citroen C1 trio unveiled earlier this month at Geneva. According to Auto Express, the new small hatchback will be based on the Chevrolet Spark platform and will start at less than £7,000 – undercutting the firm’s current Adam model by over £4,000. Subaru shows off Viziv2 concept at Geneva Motor Show
Tue, 04 Mar 2014Subaru brought a new concept to the Geneva Motor Show this week, dubbed Viziv2. It's hard to ignore the somewhat alien-sounding name, and it stands for "vision for innovation." And it's the second Viziv concept, Subaru having debuted a similar concept car at last year's Geneva Motor Show. Like the concept that came before it, Viziv2 is meant to preview design language and technologies working their way into Subaru production cars, and we can already see a resemblance between the 2015 Subaru Legacy, as well as the recently-revealed WRX STI, and the concept vehicle that Subaru has brought to Geneva.
Citroen to revive iconic DS badge
Mon, 02 Feb 2009Citroen will revive its legendary DS badge for a new range of near-premium models, industry sources said. The French brand will unveil plans for the new DS range on Wednesday, when the carmaker launches a global rebranding campaign. A concept previewing the first DS-badged model, a DS3 small car, will debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
