Complete replacement for all the internal moving parts in the counterbalancer section of Polaris 350L and 400 two stroke ATVs. Included are a reconditioned counterbalancer shaft with a new center bearing & new stainless steel sleeve on the water pump shaft and a matching crankshaft gear. Both are clean and bright. Also included are the water pump seals and gasket and the 3 bearings that you will need (2 for the balancer ends, and 1 for the crankshaft gear),  a new crankshaft sleeve (collar) and its O-ring, and the outer case gasket. You will need to re-use your water pump housing and impeller, but these are aluminum and don't corrode away. Instructions on the installation are included. All bearings are factory spec, Japanese or European origin, NO Chinese bearings. All soft parts are OEM Polaris.

Audi pulls plug on €40k A2 electric car

CAR can reveal that Audi has cancelled its electric A2 city car project, citing concerns over the model's projected €40,000 price tag. But the A2 is not the only Audi to be put on ice in Audi's electric car review. The A1 e-tron also looks to have been axed, as Audi slims down its future EV plans.

A diesel M5 - the BMW M550d, perhaps? We’ve been reporting on BMW’s triple-turbo diesel engine since we broke the news back in 2009 that BMW could be working on a triple turbo option for their 3.0 litre diesel, designed to create an ‘M Diesel’. And it now looks as though that will arrive as the BMW M550d – or a variation on that name – as soon as 2012.

In 1962, Mercedes-Benz launched a research program to investigate the development of the Wankel rotary engine and its potential both on the road and track. While the early mule wasn't a looker, the prototype's design continued to evolve until a public unveiling of the C111-I concept, designed by Bruno Sacco, at the 1969 Frankfurt motor show. The coupé may have looked like the systematic further development of the Sport Light models from the ‘50s with its gullwing doors, but it wasn't a design study for a new SL.
