BMW 4 Series Coupe makes UK debut at PGA Championship
Mon, 27 May 2013We had our first look at the car that will replace the old 3-Series Coupe ahead of its debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show when the BMW 4 Series Coupe Concept arrived, looking like a winner even before it goes in to production. Even when you take away some of the fripperies of a concept, you’re still left with an impressive 4 series Coupe that’s longer and lower than the old 3 Series – and a lot better looking. In fact, the 4 Series looks a lot like a smaller 6 Series and is also likely to spawn a ‘Gran Coupe’ version at some point – just like the 6 Series – which could do very interesting things to sales of the regular 3 series saloon.

Did you really think Victor Muller would come out of Saab with nothing? Especially after he told is in April he was looking for investors to push the Spyker D8 SSUV in to production? Muller’s Spyker and China’s Youngman – putative seller and buyer of Saab – are teaming up with a pair of joint ventures that will see Spyker’s long awaited Super SUV – the once D12 SUV and now D8 – coming to market, and Saab’s Phoenix Platform exploited.
Honda loses case over Civic hybrid mileage
Thu, 02 Feb 2012Honda was ordered to pay $9,867 in a Los Angeles Small Claims Court lawsuit to a woman who says her Civic hybrid didn't get the fuel mileage that was advertised, according to Bloomberg News. “I am absolutely thrilled at the reports that I won, even though I won't see the actual judgment until it comes in the mail,” Heather Peters said in an e-mailed statement on Wednesday to the wire service. “It's a victory for Civic hybrid owners everywhere.” Peters opted out of a class action and filed her own case in small-claims court, where plaintiffs and defendants represent themselves.
