New Polaris Ranger 500 rear window and dust/wind barrier. Same model fits the 2012 and 2013 2 and 4 seat Ranger 500s (unsure of application for previous years). I'm told it fits the newer Ranger 570s as well.  I am certain that there are other wind barriers out there that are cheaper-none are built as well or will last as long as these will! Don't confuse this one with the cheap imports who use cheap plastic that will crack and yellow over time. It is made from 1680 Ballistic Nylon, 30 gauge marine vinyl and sewn with Bonded Poly T90 thread to minimize shrinkage, sun bleaching and provide you with years of carefree use. 1" webbing sewn at all critical stress points like; top, bottom and below and above the window seam ensures longevity (as shown). Installs in a couple minutes with eight buckles and four Velcro straps securing it to the Ranger rear roll bar and can be rolled up and out of the way when you choose to.  Large window area, unlike some that restrict visibility. No need to remove while trailering. Tired of the wind and rain blowing down your neck-this will stop that and look good while it's doing it!!!!!

Nissan hosts Taxi of Tomorrow Design Expo

Thu, 27 Oct 2011

Back in May, we reported that Nissan had successfully fended off competition from Ford and Karsan to be crowned New York's ‘Taxi of tomorrow'. In collaboration with an all-new infrastructure, the NV200 light commercial vehicle would serve the Big Apple from 2013. In preparation of this, the NV200 will be displayed at the Tomorrow Design Expo next month, allowing New Yorkers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new yellow cabs. The NV200 features a variety of amenities above and beyond the outgoing Crown Victorias, with the NV200's equipment list ranging from dual-zone climate control and new exterior lighting that includes the standard availability indicators and 'trouble light' (that silently notifies nearby police when the driver is in danger) to a 'horn light' to reduce horn usage and noise pollution.

McLaren F1: the inside story by Peter Stevens and Gordon Murray

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

For a kid who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s with those cliché supercar posters on my wall, the chance to chat to Gordon Murray and Peter Stevens for the September 2014 issue of CAR magazine was both terrifying and incredibly exciting. In the name of completeness I’ll mention that Murray was the genius behind the McLaren F1, designer Stevens a key player, but most of you won’t need to be reminded. You’ll know that Murray and Stevens, along with a small but brilliant team, created a supercar that beat Lamborghini and Ferrari and everyone else in the world.
