Wed, 05 Aug 2009Infiniti M By Tim Smith First Official Pictures 05 August 2009 17:18 Ahead of its official unveiling on the 16 August 2009 at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegence, Infiniti today issued this teaser shot of the new M saloon. The new exec will fit above the G37 in the current Infiniti line-up. Technical details are hard to come by at this stage but expect the M to be rear-wheel drive and feature V6 and V8 petrol powerplants.
Porsche rejects BlueSport Concept
Thu, 14 May 2009Porsche has rejected the BlueSport concept as a new entry-level Porsche The VW BlueSport concept debuted at the Detroit Motor Show in January, and offered the prospect of an economical, fun roadster from the VW group. But at the time VW made it clear that the car would have to work across three of its brands to be viable. VW are obviously up for the project, and Audi look likely to go along with BlueSport with the planned E2 Roadster.
Smart Forvision concept
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Smart will unveil its new Forvision concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt motor as the manufacturer continues its preview its future design direction. In the last 12 months the company has revealed its Forspeed and eScooter concepts, with the latest addition designed to keep to the original ForTwo's green specifications. The Forvision uses the latest Smart electric drive system, which Daimler claims will add approximately 20 percent to the range of the current electric Smart, with an EV range of around 110 miles. The vehicle's paintwork and glass can reflect heat – on a hot day it can apparently cool the interior by around 20° C. The concept also has a glass roof, with Daimler is in the process of developing transparent solar charging technology.
