Product Details

Houser Racing is proud to offer our Max Protect Rear Bumper for the Polaris RZR XP1000.  This bumper not only has a bad ass look, but it covers the complete rear end of the UTV.  Manufactured completely from 4130 Air Craft Seamless tubing, allows the bumper to have more strength at a lighter weight.

1.       Check out our (Patent Pending) L-Bolt Design.  We’ve not seen any stronger mounting system on the market.  We use this on our Tree bars as well.  This is how it works:

Polaris RZR XP1000 Houser Rear Bumper Mount System

·         The L-Bolt:  The L-Bolt is shaped like an L.  There is M12 X 1.5 threads on one end and the other end has a cylinder with one M6 tapped hole through the center of it.

·         The RZR Chassis: The RZR chassis/Frame has two mounting holes and below the mounting holes are M6 taped holes.

·         Putting The L-Bolt In The Chassis:  Stick the L-Bolt with the M6 threaded hole into the Chassis Hole.  Align the M6 Hole in the L-Bolt with the M6 Hole in the Chassis.  Thread the provided M6 Flange bolt through the Chassis into the L-Bolt.  When the M6 Flange Bolt gets tightened the L-Bolt will become rigid and will leave a nice M12 threaded stud sticking out for your bumper to mount.

2.       Dual Purpose:  Purchase this rear bumper as a standalone item.  When you fall in love with our great service, products, custom ability, and quick delivery you can purchase our Race Cage and not have to rebuy a bumper.

3.       Removable Mounts:  Our Bumper Mounts are removable.  This allows for cheaper shipping prices and ease of installation.

4.       Rubber Mount Spacer:  In-between the Chassis and our Bumper Mounts we utilize a rubber spacer cushion.  This serves two purposes:

·         Allows the Bumper to flex on rear impact.

·         Helps with alignment when installing the Houser Race Cage.

5.       Add a Hitch Receiver: You can remove our bottom mount bracket and easily add our Hitch Receiver.

6.       Manufactured in USA:  We manufacture all of our own parts in Marion, Ohio at our 55,000SF Facility.  Our building looks like the ghetto on the outside, but like an Oreo cookie, the goods come from the inside!!

7.       Professionally Engineered:  We employ four engineers, Jeff & John Houser, John C, Pat M.  We use Autodesk Inventor 3D Design Suite.

8.       Custom Colors:  Most of our products come in many color choices.  Sense this market is so customizable, we stock everything in bare.  Once an order is placed, the bare items will begin the powder coat and assembly process.  We paint all colors every two weeks.  Lead times should never be longer than the two week cycle.  Rush delivery is always an option, but comes at a cost.  Don’t hesitate to call in and ask about rush items.

Ferrari ramps up engine-making -- for Maserati

Wed, 08 May 2013

Ferrari is adding 250 workers and expanding its engine-building capacity, even as it says it will cut car production this year at its landmark factory in Maranello, Italy. Why the cause for growth? Ferrari is ramping up its in-house engine operation and will produce more V6 engines, which sister company Maserati will use in the redesigned Quattroporte sedan and the smaller E-segment entry, the Ghibli.

Mazda 6 launched at 2012 Moscow motor show

Tue, 28 Aug 2012

Mazda has unveiled its new 6 saloon at the 2012 Moscow motor show – a nod to the significance of the Eastern European markets for the Japanese car maker. This third-generation Mazda 6 will be the second model in Mazda’s line-up to feature both its suite of innovative SkyActiv drivetrain and chassis technologies and the company’s ‘Kodo – Soul of Motion’ design language. That’s a clunky design title, but the new 6 is anything but - it’s a handsome looking car in our eyes, and takes its riffs from the Mazda Takeri concept first seen at the 2011 Tokyo motor show.

GTbyCitroen at Goodwood Festival of Speed – Confirmed

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

The GTbyCitroen Concept will tackle the Goodwood Hill Climb in July The GTbyCitroen will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed between 3rd & 5th of July, and will tackle the 1.16 mile hill climb as part of the Sunday Times Supercar Run. But there is no word on who will be driving the Citroen GT, although our money is still on Race of Champions title holder, Sebastian Loeb. This tour of high-profile European Motoring events is a prelude to the limited production of the GTbyCitroen Concept, which was never actually designed to be built.
