The first official images of the Mercedes SLS AMG Gullwing have leaked out ahead of Frankfurt We’ve been teased and tormented by the long, drawn-out tease for the Mercedes SLS AMG - the in-house replacement for the mighty Mercedes McLaren SLR. We’ve had what I thing is a first – an SLS Official Spy Video – and endless bits and pieces on the Gullwing. But now – ahead of the official launch of the SLS next week at Frankfurt – the damn has burts and the first official images have leaked out Mercedes.

Jaguar EATS Mercedes ‘Magic Body Control’ Chicken Mercedes-Benz recently produced a fun video to demonstrate their Magic Body Control using a bunch of chickens to show how, despite undulations, bumps and potholes, MBC would keep everything in shape. The video of the ‘Magic Body Control Chickens’ was a rare glimpse at German humour (although the humour may well have been an accident) and a great way to demonstrate MBC. But we wonder if Mercedes sense of humour will stay intact with Jaguar’s latest video?

VW planning to sell 2 versions of Polo compact in U.S.

Volkswagen plans to sell two versions of its Polo compact car in the United States: a sedan smaller than the current Jetta and a four-door hatchback roomier than the one shown this month at the Geneva auto show. Both versions would be designed especially for the United States, said Volkswagen Group of America CEO Stefan Jacoby. Sales could start in 2011, he said.
