Ford and IDSA to host 'Designing Innovation' live design panel discussion tomorrow
Tue, 06 May 2014Freeman Thomas, strategic design director at Ford, will take part in a live design panel discussion on Wednesday 7 May. The panel, hosted by Ford and the Industrial Designers Society of America, will also include CEO of industrial design firm Fuseproject Yves Béhar, and Christopher Williams, business development director at product design and company Lime Lab. Topics will how technology plays a role in design; how designers shape consumer behaviors and responses to innovative products; and how products both stand out from and fit in with the world around them.
Interior Motives announces shortlist for Student Design Awards 2009

Handed down by a ten-strong panel of industry experts, the shortlist will be further reviewed before three finalists and a winner for each of the eight categories - and the overall competition winner - is ultimately selected and awarded on the eve of the second press day of the Frankfurt auto show. Imaginatively named The Climax Sport Racer the new car gets powered by a Ford 4.6 V8 developing 345bhp with a supercharged version offering 415bhp. All that grunt is driven through the rear wheels by a 6-speed Graziano GT ME1 gearbox.
