Brilliance Zhonghua H530

The Zhonghua H530 from Brilliance is a compact sedan based on the Huachen A platform, designed by the renowned Italian design house, Pininfarina. The car features the family grille with its central bar and emphasized by the hood surface's feature lines and lower air intake treatment. Lexus are aiming for Co2 emissions below 110g/km for the GS 300h (the IS 300h manages 99g/km) which will give headline economy around 60mpg – a third better than the GS 450h can manage. Power comes from the same hybrid drivetrain as the IS 300h, which means a 2.5 litre petrol mated to an electric motor and delivering 215bhp and o-62mph in around 8.5 seconds.

TRAFFIC JAMS are getting worse, with London hold-ups increasing despite the congestion charge, according to new figures. UK drivers wasted a total of 30 hours in traffic congestion in 2013 - one hour more than in 2012 - statistics from traffic information company Inrix showed. The London commute zone had the biggest increase in hours wasted, rising from 72 hours in 2012 to 82 hours last year.
