IT WILL ALSO FIT EARLIER MODELS WITH CLUTCH UPDATES. IT HAS A CHROME TOP AND SIDECOVER AND A PORT FOR AN ELECTRONIC SPEEDOMETER. The 2012 Mazda CX-5 arrived officially at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year and now, with it set to arrive in UK showrooms in the spring and order books open, Mazda has revealed details of the CX-5 models on offer in the UK, and their price. The CX-5 is the first production Mazda to get the new SkyActiv technology in the two engines on offer – a 2.0 litre petrol with 165PS and a 2.2 litre diesel with either 150PS or 175PS – with options of either 2WD or 4WD, manual or automatic gearboxes and four trim levels - SE-L, SE-L Nav, Sport and Sport Nav.

Fri, 01 Jun 2012Lincoln has appointed Peter Jones as the luxury brand's new interior design manager, a role he will take up within the next few weeks. Jones, who has worked at Ford Australia's design studio for seven years, will report directly to Max Wolff, a former colleague who moved in January 2011 to become Lincoln's Design Director. The Australian designer was interior design manager for the new Ranger and also worked as lead exterior designer on the FG Falcon Ute.

When the new Mercedes A Class was revealed at Geneva last week we got plenty of news about what the cracking new A Class has to offer, including the news that there would be a Mercedes first with the new A Class – a 99g/km option. At the time Mercedes gave us no detail, but its now appears that they are going to use a Renault-sourced 1.5 litre diesel as the basis for the new A Class Eco version – suitably Mercedes sorted.
