Set of 4 Polyurethane Add-on Spring Spacers to Suit Suzuki SJ80 for IFS models. May also suit Vitara and Grand Vitara but ONLY for models WITHOUT TAPERED SPRINGS and up to year 2005. (Please check your springs before ordering as very important). EVERY NOW AND THEN THE SJ80 HAS BEEN BUILT DIFFERENTLY FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CHECK YOUR SPRING SIZE ID AND OD FRONT AND REAR AGAINST THE SPACER SIZE I HAVE GIVEN BEFORE YOU BUY. THANK YOU. Will raise your vehicle by 30mm Front and Rear. 2 x Front 15mm AND 2 x Rear 30mm. OD 108mm and ID 65mm NB. To be used with existing spring insulators. Fit above spring insulator and body and replace existing spacer on top. Due to the way the suspension is set up in the front the 15mm spacer raises the vehicle by 30mm. In some cases apparently the rear spacers cover the locating lugs so the only way I'm told to rectify this is by modifying the locating lugs by extending them. I cannot confirm this but I suggest your Suzuki dealer or mechanic will know. Manufactured locally from high grade polyurethane in black. No waiting or drop-shipping. Buy direct from the manufacturer and save! Important: To suit IFS (independent front suspension) models only - for fixed axle models see my listing for 4 x 30mm spacers. Bio-Fuel Skycar to go in to production
Fri, 17 Apr 2009Parajet's Skycar looks set for road-legal production in 2010 [ad#ad-1] Three months ago we brought you news on the plans of London Company Parajet International Ltd to take their Skycar on a trip to Timbuktu. Well, not only was the trip a great success – they arrived in Timbutu on 26th March – but the Skycar is now destined to go in to production next year. Bedfordshire Company Rage Motorsport, best known for producing Buggies, is to partner with Parajet to produce completely road-legal versions of the Skycar, with Rage producing the cars/buggies and Parajet adding the bits to make it fly (which makes sense!).
2013 VW Beetle R-Line Package
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Volkswagen has revealed two R-Line Packs for the new Beetle – one for the interior, one for the exterior – to spice up the Beetle. The VW Beetle we’re really looking forward to that has an ‘R’ on its boot is the Beetle R, but it looks like we’ll have to make do with an ‘R’ cosmetic makeover for now in the guise of the VW Beetle R-Line. Volkswagen has revealed a pair of R-Line packs for the new Beetle that add a bit more purpose to the Beetle pastiche – one for the exterior and one for the interior.
Coventry students embark on interior project for GM's Opel/Vauxhall division
Mon, 15 Feb 2010Designers at GM's Opel/Vauxhall division have tasked students at Coventry University with creating the vehicle interior of the future. Championed by Richard Shaw, Chief Designer at Opel's Advanced Design Studio in Germany, students will be charged with creating innovative and visionary interior concepts for the next decade, taking into account future needs of consumers but also the brand's values. Judges from GM Europe Design and Coventry University will then select the winning entry.
