You are bidding on a Pontiac straight 8 268 ci engine comes with pistons crankshaft camshaft. Side covers, remachined valves, springs, radiator fan and pulley, fuel pump which needs rebuild, front motor mount and heatshield. No harmonic balancer. Piston 7 has a bad rod bearing which will need to be replaced for future rebuild but other than that motor is in pretty good condition and about 75% there. Please ask any questions before bidding. This is a video of the motor when it was first running before I took it apart.

BMW Welt hosts 'Line of Beauty' exhibition

The BMW museum is playing host to a special exhibition entitled ‘The Line of Beauty', which takes a trip through the history of the ‘big' BMW coupes and convertibles. The flagship BMW coupes and convertibles have an illustrious past and most are icons in their own right. The exhibition features 14 individual exhibits that span from the pre-war 327 and 327/28 Convertible and Coupe through to the current F12/13 6-Series.

Money flows at Monterey Auctions

Buyers of classic vehicles have dug deep into their pockets at auctions on the Monterey Peninsula, easily topping the sales totals from last year with one auction still remaining. More than $203 million has been spent on 704 vehicles, for an average sale price of $288,360. In 2011, the auction houses set a record for total sales during Pebble Beach week at $197,732,538 having been spent on 881 vehicles for an average sale price of $224,441.
