I RAN OUT OF ROOM FOR PICTURES BUT MOTOR HAS EVERYTHING SHOWN PLUS DEEP OIL PAN, GENERATOR AND ANY OTHER ITEMS TO COMPLETE MOTOR.
I BUILT THIS ENGINE FOR A 1961 CATALINA IN 1964 THAT I RAN IN CS/A, THIS BODY AND MOTOR FIT THE CLASS PERFECTLY.
ENGINE WAS BLUE PRINTED TO MEET NHRA STOCK CLASSIFICATION. ENGINE BUILD SHEET IS ATTACHED. IT HAS MICKEY THOMPSON ALUMINUM PISTONS.
EVERYTHING WAS DONE PERIOD CORRECT FOR THAT TIME FRAME, IT WAS A PERFECTLY LEGAL CS/A CAR THAT RAN A BEST OF 13.66 AND CONSISTENTLY RAN 13.8, THIS IS IN 1964 ON SMALL TIRES. THAT WAS VERY GOOD AT THE TIME.
MOTOR ONLY HAS ABOUT 50 RUNS ON IT. SOON AFTER BUILDING THIS CAR, I GOT INTO CORVETTES.
MOTOR HAS BEEN IN MY POSSESSION SINCE 1964 (49 YEARS). I TOOK MOTOR APART IN 1994 SO I COULD MOVE IT TO NEW HOUSE.
I BELIEVE I HAVE EVERYTHING AS A COMPLETE MOTOR, IT DOES HAVE SOME RUST BUT NOTHING THAT I FEEL WOULD INTERFERE WITH A TOTAL REBUILD.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO RESTORE A 1961 OR 1962 PONTIAC, THIS IS THE MOTOR FOR YOU, YOU WILL NOT ONLY HAVE THE CORRECT PARTS BUT YOU WILL HAVE A CAR WITH A LOT MORE PUNCH.

Okay, okay, technically it’s the Mazda Hazumi concept, but the Japanese company itself openly admits this dinky little hatchback previews ‘ideas for its next-generation B-car’. Incidentally, Hazumi (no, not the cheese, but Hazumi) is apparently a Japanese word meaning ‘bound’ or ‘spring up’ so Mazda’s picked the name ‘to convey an image of a small but vigorous animal, bursting with energy.’ That’s right, and Mazda is using it to highlight its ‘Kodo’ design language, its SkyActiv fuel-saving technologies, and its MZD Connect infotainment system.
