Up for sale is a large parts lot of good used OEM Fiero power door parts and harnesses. Take a look at the pics to see what is included. I will go over the list here as well.
Wiring Harnesses
For starters you get the power lock and window add-on harness used by the factory when building a Fiero to have power windows and locks. It runs along side the interior harness as a separate unit. The harness is complete with the power lock relay. The only cut wires are those running to the door jamb switches ( already on all Fieros ) . All of the wiring for the windows and locks is uncut. The interior harness connectors that plug into this harness were cut off and included incase you may need them. The other plugs will plug into the under dash junction panel that is already in your car. I have included the door extension harnesses as well that include the lock solenoid & switch plugs and the window motor plugs. These harnesses will work in all Fieros, but if you have an 87 or 88 model you will need to do some slight modifications due to the elimination of the door jamb switches in favor of latch mounted ones. On those cars you will need to reuse your existing wiring form the manual door as well as the included wiring.
Lock Solenoids & Window Motors
The lock solenoids and window motors w / regulators for both doors are included in this listing. These are good used OEM units. They have been powered up and tested to be functional. These parts carry the same 30-day guarantee I offer on all my used electrical components.
Miscellaneous Hardware
This part lot also includes the crucial hardware needed to convert a manual door to power ( and some extras for your parts stash ) . It includes the latches for both doors and the lock rods (drvs handle link is included, pass is not). The mounting bracket and pivot for the lock solenoid on both doors is included. Two window tracks per door are included. There is also some other misc parts I threw in like the upper arm rest mounts, some padded window guides ( 2 ) , lock rod guides ( 3 ), and linkage bushings ( 2 ) . You get what is in the pics , look closely because I may have missed to mention something. If you see, and only if you see it, you get it. As with the wiring if you intend to use these parts on an 87 or 88 model you will most likely have to reuse your latches and add only the extra parts for the power lock solenoid. This is because of the change in the door ajar switch mentioned earlier.
This part lot is everything you need except the switches and cosmetic parts ( like the bezels and switch panels ) . If I had any of that stuff I would have included it, but it has been at least 10 years since my last Fiero project and that stuff is long gone. When packaged all the parts will be separated out ( like the piles shown in the pics ) and the bags / boxes labeled passenger or driver side door to make things easier on you during the installation. Last week we reported that Mercedes are adding a pair of AMG models to the top of the new G Class range, with the V8 G63 AMG and the G65 AMG offering astonishing performance from a car that’s been around almost as long as Bruce Forsyth. Sadly the UK won’t be getting the G65 (although if you’re mad enough to spend £250k on a G Class you can bring a LHD one in from Germany), but we will be getting the G63 AMG with the 5.5 litre bi-turbo.
