Hummer H2 SUT (2007): first official pictures

Wed, 28 Mar 2007

By Liz Turner First Official Pictures 28 March 2007 11:03 Hummer H2 SUT The H2 SUT gains the same 393hp 6.2-litre V8 and six-speed box as the SUV, plus its more refined interior. This might seem incongruous to a Brit: a pick-up is a working vehicle, right? Not in the States.

CAR 20 Most Wanted of 2014: VW Golf R

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

By the CAR editorial team First Official Pictures 17 December 2013 15:00 Everyone knows the Golf GTI: fun, practical, affordable, understated, it’s the default hot hatch. The Golf R is more complex: unravel its DNA and you’ll find traces of the four-wheel drive, supercharged Mk2 Rallye, the front-drive Mk3 VR6 with its 2.8-litre V6 and leather interior, the Mk4 and Mk5 four-wheel-drive R32 and the Mk6 R that ditched the potent V6 for a punchier, more fuel-efficient turbo four. It’d be a nightmare of a custody battle.

Seat Altea Freetrack Concept

By Ben Barry Motor Shows 08 March 2007 11:42 What’s this, yet another crossover? Yes, what with the world going crossover crazy, Seat is the latest to jump on the bandwagon, unveiling the Altea Freetrack concept at Geneva – an important step as the brand currently has no four-wheel drive models in its line-up. Seat has also been lacking the edge that made it such a promising brand of late, and the Freetrack is a statement that it’s keen to get back on track.
