Installation Package
This is one of the popular 1971-76 full bodied
GM convertibles known as "scissor tops."
The original shop manual is a fully illustrated guide
to step-by-step removal and installation of the tops.
For those doing their first install, we also recommend the 40-page tutorial
in our "classic two-part top manual." Both manuals
are included in this package. Read the tutorial first then
use the shop manual for your work.
If you are comfortable using an air-driven staple gun and with
aligning and gluing with contact cement
then you are a good candidate for do-it-yourself installation
of this classic two-part convertible top.

After four years of waiting and endless spy shots of the LF-A pounding round the Nurburgring we finally see the official reveal of the Lexus LF-A. A glorious 4.8 litre V10 Supercar with 552bhp, 354lbs/ft of torque, a 9,000 rpm redline, a six-speed sequential ‘box, a 0-60mph time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of over 200mph.
Citroen Launches DS3 Design Competition

Now the French automaker is inviting creative visionaries to customize the roof and dashboard of the new car in an international design competition. Appropriately called the DS3 Design Competition, the contest is open to both budding and experienced designers – anyone wanting to offer their own unique interpretation of the DS3's roof and dashboard.
CCS - AISI project 2007
Wed, 26 Sep 2007The college for Creative Studies (CCS) has been teaming up with the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) since 1989, bringing together imaginative automotive design and steel, the material of choice in the industry. As did last year's program, this summer also saw three engineering students from the University of Michigan (UM) join three CCS transportation design students to develop a concept car. Revolving around an 'Inside Out' theme, students conceptualized, rendered and created a concept vehicle based on a steel exoskeleton design.
