Pair, GRAY CERAMIC COATED RAM AIR three bolt & two bolt flanges for GTO, Trans Am.  All 68&later Ram Air & H/O exhaust motors use this combo.    These have the correct outline dimensions (not the oversized--ill fitting that are offered by other suppliers) and handle stock size pipes.  Correct bolt circle  and internal chamfer for correct pipe fit to the manifold.

**COMPETITIVE COMPARISON-- It is tragic..what other ebay vendors and catalog guys provide to the Pontiac hobby.   Take a look at the over-sized and double-the-weight flanges they are selling(2.5" flanges shown).  This poor quality part complicates, even prevents fit!!  Ram Air Restoration flanges have the original size and perfect machining.

Shipping anywhere in lower 48 is 6.00.

Ford and GM tie-in with Apple

Thu, 10 Aug 2006

Having established a relationship with Nike for recycling materials as demonstrated on the Ford Reflex concept, Ford has now joined GM in collaborating with Apple to ensure their cars are iPod compatible. Rather than the retrofitted wire many drivers have had to resort to, cars will offer a bespoke area in the glove compartment that also acts as a charging point, the iPod instead controlled through the car?s GUI. By the end of the year, 70% of all new models sold in America are expected to be iPod compatible, an arrangement that furthers Apple?s continuing domination of the MP3-player market and one that will introduce Apple to the car-computer market, anticipated to be worth $6billion by 2010.

David Brown Automotive promising a new luxury British sports car

David Brown Automotive promising a new luxury British sports car The name David Brown Automotive conjures up images of the man whose initials still give us the Aston Martin DB9 – former tractor builder David Brown who bought up Aston Martin in 1947 (and subsequently Lagonda and Tickford). But this David Brown Automotive is actually a new company which promises to “…refresh the classic British sports car, for the 21st Century” with a vision for a new luxury take on the classic British Sports Car. David Brown has put together a team lead by Alan Mobberley – who was  Chief Designer at Land Rover until 2005 and cropped up recently as the designer for Eterniti Motors – and has commissioned Envisage Group (the firm that bought up what was left of CPP after Vladimir Antonov’s exploits and who are building the glorious Lyonheart E-Type) to bring his dreams to life.

Hyundai ix35 FCEV Hydrogen Fuel Cell in production by end 2012

Fri, 17 Aug 2012

Hyundai will have its hydrogen powered ix35 FCEV in production by the end of 2012 with full production by 2015. We’ve spotted the Hyundai ix35 FCEV (that’s the hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle) out in South Korea sporting a new nose a couple of times recently, which apparently doesn’t signal a facelift for the ix35. What it does signal is Hyundai’s commitment to the hydrogen fuel cell as the most sensible fuel for cars in the future and to remove our dependency on oil, and Hyundai has been out promoting that message in London.
