Part #140R-11B Pontiac

I got these valve covers new back in 1998 from Jeg's.  They are the Polished Alumiminum style.  I took it one step further and had them Powder Coated Gloss Black.  I was going to put them on my 428 motor...but decided to go in another direction.  They have never been on a running motor.  As you can see the oil breathers have never been punched out.  They are in excellent condition and shine brightly. There may be a small rub here and there on the powder coating...from being moved around in my garage. So, they are not dead mint...but are very, very nice and presentable...and will do any Pontiac Motor justice.

I took the best pictures possible to show them.

Free Shipping to USA only.

All parts are as is, so please be sure prior to bidding.  No returns.

Thank you!

Ford offers C-Max Hybrid owners rebates for overstated mpg

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

In the wake of Ford's decision yesterday to lower its fuel mileage estimates on the C-Max hybrid, the company says it will also offer a payment to C-Max hybrid owners and lease holders for the estimated average fuel cost between the new and former mpg figures. Owners will get a check for $550 while lessees will get $325. The window sticker on the C-Max hybrid will now read 43 mpg, instead of the originally promised 47 mpg.

BMW Z2 Spy shot snapped last year in the US The idea of a sub-Z4 roadster from BMW has been a round a while. Well, at least as long as the Z4 has. And while we have no idea if it will be called the Z2, it does seem logical.

Ford eyes dandelions as sustainable alternative to synthetic rubber

Tue, 17 May 2011

Ford, in conjunction with Ohio State University, is turning to the humble garden weed as sustainable resource, researching the dandelion's potential use as an alternative to synthetic rubber. While the automaker already makes considerable use of sustainable materials in its vehicles – such as soy foam seat cushions and straw-filled plastic for interior trim – this latest discovery opens up a wealth of new possibilities for automotive applications. According to research conducted by Ford, a milky-white substance that is found in certain dandelion roots can produce a sustainable rubber that could be used to create plastic parts for vehicle interiors.
