Rare Doug Nash/Warrior Racing Pontiac Intake Manifold. Small Holley Bolt pattern (4150) Water jacket has been cut off, which was a trick back in the day to improve the intake to head match. Runners have been modified slightly for smoother/greater air velocity. decent condition, never used it on my combo and need to clean the garage out. will be listing other stuff that has to go. These intakes are considered the old school way to go for lots of power. read the magazine articles about them, these were the way to go. Jaguar Land Rover leads UK universities to develop virtual simulation tech
Tue, 11 Jun 2013Jaguar Land Rover is to lead four UK universities in a £10m ($15.5m) government scheme to develop virtual simulation technologies and processes to help improve and accelerate the car design process. The carmaker will be leading project teams from the universities of Cambridge, Loughborough, Leeds and Warwick in the Program for Simulation Innovation (PSI), developed to improve the potential of the UK virtual simulation industry. It is hoped that through its results design quality and capability can be improved through the simulation of sights, sounds and smells.
Ford Mondeo/Fusion unveiled at 2012 Detroit show
Mon, 09 Jan 2012Ford unveiled its new 2013 Mondeo at the Detroit auto show - the new Mondeo is in fact now a Fusion in Euro drag. Under the One Ford rules, most major car projects are in fact global affairs, so the Mondeo follows in the footsteps of the Focus, also unveiled in Detroit two years ago and brought to Europe a year later. We'll have a similarly long wait for the Ford Fusion to make the leap to the European Mondeo, with a launch slated for spring 2013.
Renault 4 Ever contest shortlist announced
Thu, 04 Aug 2011Renault and Design Boom have announced the ten designs that have been shortlisted in their ‘Renault 4 Ever’ design competition. Over 3,200 projects were submitted by design enthusiasts from 92 different countries after Renault, in collaboration with Design Boom, released a brief calling for designs that re-created the ‘look and style' of the iconic Renault 4, capture the functionality and minimalistic philosophy of the original while respecting its identity and iconic status. The jury also wanted to see innovative design and technology for sustainable mobility.
