For sale is a new in box VDO Tachometer 0-8000 rpm. My friend sold his 1969,  911 T Porsche and found some parts in basement that I am selling. Please check my other auctions for Weber carburetor and carburetor parts.
I have no knowledge of these but will attempt to answer any questions. The original bill of sale from 1992 is included.

Markings on box and include  VDO 230/3/4, 12V/24000, 6 Zyl/ 4Tkl. He purchased this new and was able to get the one on the car operating correctly and never used this one.

Mini Cooper Countryman gets New York freshening

The Mini Countryman has undergone a subtle midlife facelift for the New York auto show, four years after it was launched in North America. The lightly reworked range-topping Mini Countryman model is expected to go on sale in July at prices company officials suggest will remain largely unchanged here in the U.S. As this first batch of official photographs reveals, there is very little to distinguish the refreshed Countryman from the existing model.

London's GPS-based speed-limit trial puts Big Brother's foot on the gas pedal

A fleet of 12 Toyota Priuses in London have been fitted with GPS-linked speed limiters to measure how drivers respond to having their speed controlled by a computer rather than their own feet. For now, the trial is local to London, run by Transport for London, the agency that manages the city's roads, buses, subways and trains. The agency is using its own fleet of Priuses for the test and will add a bus and a taxi later this year.
