The McLaren F1 LM Prototype is heading for display at the Geneva Motor Show as McLaren try to out do Ferrari in the history stakes. McLaren are taking the prototype for the F1 LM – the McLaren XP1 LM – to Geneva for its first ever trip outside the UK (it’s owned by McLaren and was promised to Lewis Hamilton if he won three F1 world championships with McLaren. He didn’t) and will have it on show as part of McLaren’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Mini celebrates 10 years in U.S. with cross-country rally

Mini will kick off its biggest road rally in America, called Mini Takes the States, on the East Coast on July 4. It will conclude at the Pacific Ocean on July 15. The biannual rally will celebrate all things Mini as the company marks its 10-year anniversary in the United States.

Abarth 500C: Hot Fiat Convertible at Geneva

Fiat are debuting the convertible hot Fiat 500 - the Abarth 500C - at the Geneva Motor Show It’s taken Fiat a very long time to catch up with the story we ran in July last year. We’d heard that Fiat were planning a hot version of the hugely successful Fita 500C – the convertible – in the form of the Abarth 500C. We then got confirmation that the Abarth 500C was coming in October and finally we’ve learnt  that Fiat will be taking the new Abarth 500C to the Geneva Motor Show next week.
