Porsche 356 Literature 356b Spare Parts List Stuff, Original But Rough on 2040-parts.com
Orinda, California, United States
This is a stack of original factory spare parts documents for the 356B. They are in very rough condition. Probably the most interesting is the "356B Temporary Spare Parts List" dated September 1959. According to the foreward it applies to chassis nos. 108918 up (coupe), 152476 up (Cabriolet) and 86831 up (roadster) as well as engines 600101 up (normal) and 84772 up (super) and transmission nos. 32001 up (type 741). It lists only the parts that are different for the 356B relative to the 356A and gives both old (356A) part numbers and the new (3565B) part numbers. There are no diagrams. This is in pretty bad condition as is all of this literature, with wrinkled pages, stains etc. The rest of these items are revisions to the 356B Spare Parts Catalog. Included are revisions Number VI, Number VII, Number VIII, Number IX, Number XII, Number XIII, and Number XIV. Again there are no diagrams and the pages are in poor condition. All together this makes a stack about 1 1/2 inches thick. Did I mention that this is all in pretty poor condition!! This stack weighs about 4 lbs, and you have the choice of slow, but cheap media mail shipping or fast priority mail shipping.

Watch two guys smash a BMW M6 with hammers and axes
Wed, 18 Sep 2013Awhile back, a news story flitted past our collective consciousnesses, claiming that people who drive BMWs, especially blue ones, were the angriest and most aggressive drivers on the road. Is this Aston Martin DB 2/4 the ‘original’ James Bond Aston Martin?
Wed, 21 May 2014Is this Aston Martin DB 2/4 the original Bond car? Lovers of James Bond films will be totally familiar with the iconic Aston Martin DB5 Bond drove in a number of films, and in particular the Aston Martin DB5 which was the star of Goldfinger. Bond anoraks will tell you that the ‘real’ James Bond – the one Fleming wrote about in the Bond series of books – drove a Bentley, but Bond was given an Aston Martin to drive in the Goldfinger book as he chased Auric Goldfinger across Europe.
