Condition:Used

This is a stack of original factory spare parts documents for the 356B. They are in very rough condition.  Probably the most interesting is the "356B Temporary Spare Parts List" dated September 1959. According to the foreward it applies to chassis nos. 108918 up (coupe), 152476 up (Cabriolet) and 86831 up (roadster) as well as engines 600101 up (normal) and 84772 up (super) and transmission nos. 32001 up (type 741).  It lists only the parts that are different for the 356B relative to the 356A and gives both old  (356A) part numbers and the new (3565B) part numbers. There are no diagrams.  This is in pretty bad condition as is all of this literature, with wrinkled pages, stains etc.  The rest of these items are revisions to the 356B Spare Parts Catalog.  Included are revisions Number VI, Number VII, Number VIII, Number IX, Number XII, Number XIII, and Number XIV.  Again there are no diagrams and the pages are in poor condition.  All together this makes a stack about 1 1/2 inches thick.  Did I mention that this is all in pretty poor condition!! This stack weighs about 4 lbs, and you have the choice of slow, but cheap media mail shipping or fast priority mail shipping.

But it’s also pointing firmly towards Mercedes plans to give Land Rover – and in particular Range Rover – a run for their money.
