A chance to own a set of period correct, original Kronprinz KPZ wheels for your Porsche 356. All four wheels are original, 3 of them are dated 7/61 and 1 is dated 8/61. They are true and honestly a good set for restoration or just re-painting. All wheels are straight with minor outer lip tiny bends or curb rash nothing major! Wheels have not been repainted, repaired or abused they are in their original used state. All wheels have the center clips in tact not 1 is broken. Wheels are being sold in an "as is"and "where is" final sale "no warranties" condition. Prefer to sell locally or if I ship, buyer pays shipping. SAIC wins LA Auto Show Design Challenge
Fri, 29 Nov 2013China's SAIC, the parent company of Roewe and MG brands (yes, Morris Garages and what used to be Rover), took the top spot in the LA Auto Show Design challenge with its Mobiliant Concept, beating other contestants like BMW DesignworksUSA, Subaru, Mazda, Changfeng, Quoros, and others. The theme for this year's challenge at the LA Auto Show was "Biomimicry & Mobility 2025: Nature's Answer to Human Challenges." Entrants were directed to propose design concepts that integrated the concept of biomimicry into transportation concepts. Quite a challenge and quite an open theme, especially when you consider that last year's theme was pretty straightforward: "Highway Patrol Vehicles in the Year 2025." In 2012 the Subaru SHARC concept took the top prize.
Underground Racing Lamborghini cracks 250 mph--watch the video here
Sat, 24 Apr 2010Earlier this year, we told you about Underground Racing, a shop in Charlotte, N.C., that makes a business out of upgrading Lamborghinis with twin turbochargers to boost engine output to more than 1,000 hp. Now, a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera upfitted by Underground Racing cracked the 250-mph mark at the Texas Mile event. Car owner Richard Holt made the 250.1-mph run in late March, but video was posted just this week.
