Mini, Airstream collaborate on concept for Italian show

One of the last things we expect to see is a Mini towing around a 22-foot Airstream trailer, but that's exactly what will be on display in Milan, Italy, at the Salone del Mobile show in April. The one-off concept brings together the two iconic brands to produce a combination that surely will please beachgoers. For a modern styling touch, the duo tapped furniture producers Republic of Fritz Hansen to work its magic on the Cooper S Clubman tow car and the Airstream trailer.

Kia has released a short film featuring Peter Schreyer that provides an insight into the world of premium car design in which he explains the importance of proportion. In the presentation, Schreyer sketches the company's new K9 sedan, describing how a rear-wheel drive platform affects the car's design, with its generous wheelbase, short front overhang and the 'prestige distance' between the center of the front wheel and the A-pillar. Ferrari launches Tailor-Made program

Following an initial reveal at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September, Ferrari recently announced a new personalization program that will enable owners to create a highly individual and unique vehicle. The latest in a long line of manufacturers to begin offering highly personalized cars for individual owners, Ferrari's take is far more ambitious. The new Tailor-Made program harks back to the 1960s when each Ferrari was custom made to suit the desires of each individual owner and offers a multitude of infinitely personalizable options. The new Tailor-Made program allows owners to specify every last detail of their Ferrari – from the exterior color to the interior stitching – through an extensive list of accessories, materials and unique finishes created by the Ferrari Styling Center.
