 This is an offer for  ONE of my most recent replica's of the early style (and better looking) 550A Spyder  mirror cowling that I hand form from .063 aluminum sheet. There are two of the three shown here remaining from the initial commission. All three were/are essentially identical. These are generated from a pattern taken from an original piece.

The originals used an oval window "football" VW interior rear view mirror with a "cut down" mounting post. The later cowlings would be rather "squarish" and would use a cut down bus mirror that was rectangular, -a better view but not as pretty. These use a M6 X1.0 Tee nut and shroud screws for fastening.  I also offer my own mirror assy. for this cowling, it's shown here in a couple of pictures, but it isn't included. It is listed in another auction of mine, check it out for the details. It holds its adjustment very positively, -unlike the originals. Infiniti Q50 hit by steer-by-wire recall in the US

Infiniti has issued a recall notice in the US for a small number of Q50 models fitted with the firm’s new Direct Adaptive Steering system. This is a ‘steer-by-wire’ steering system that only has a mechanical link between the steering wheel and the wheels as a back-up. The rest of the time the steering is operated by electronics, rather than a direct connection.

The Porsche 918 Spyder first broke cover as a concept at the 2010 Geneva motor show. Since then, we've seen it again and again at various auto shows and track events. Now it's testing at high altitudes in Keystone, Colo.

Nissan has unveiled its 2014 Versa Note at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The new design aims to improve fuel economy through improved aerodynamics and has a drag coefficient of 0.298, achieved with the aid of Nissan's first Active Grille Shutter. The Versa Note, which uses the carmaker's global ‘V' platform, sits on a long wheelbase of 2,600mm and has short front and rear overhangs.
