For sale are six used Porsche 911 2.0 liter cylinder heads. The casting numbers on the heads are R90110430304, k1819b. Four of the cylinder heads are date stamped 8/65 and two of the cylinder heads are date stamped 9/65. Two of the cylinder heads have holes in them and will need to be repaired as shown in the pictures. We are selling these as is as pictured. Under the bonnet, the SDV8 gets tweaked to deliver an extra 29lb/ft of torque – now with 545lb/ft – and a fuller torque curve between 1700 and 3300rpm. The effect of that extra torque is an improvement of 6.5 per cent in in-gear acceleration from fifth to eighth gear and better towing ability.

That's right, the smug owners of those G63 AMGs you see parked in front of trendy restaurants downtown do not, in fact, possess the coolest version of the long-running G-class. BINZ is known in other markets as the maker of Mercedes-Benz limousines and ambulances, but their wares are almost entirely unknown in the western hemisphere.

Wed, 14 Aug 2013The Skoda Yeti gets a facelift for 2014 – and a split personality The Skoda Yeti has been a big success for Skoda – and rightly so, it’s very able and decently priced – but it’s been around for a while and is ready for a facelift. So Skoda has done the usual facelift tweaks for the Yeti – which will be revealed in public at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show – with new grill and lights at the front, titivated tailgate and lights at the back, some new colour options - Moon-White, Jungle-Green, Metal-Grey and Magnetic-Brown – and new alloys. Inside the tweaks are even less obvious with titivations for the steering wheel, dashboard trim and upholstery and the arrival of a rear view camera and automatic parking the main highlights.
