2002-2004 Porsche 911 (996) 3.6 VarioCam Plus engine.  Engine code: M96/03.  ~65,000 miles.  Pulled from a manual transmission car.  Motor has had the LN IMS bearing retrofit done, with an unknown number of miles on the engine since the retrofit. Rear Main Seal (RMS) is the latest 997 part, but has not been installed to the deeper depth.  Valve covers have been resealed, with an unknown number of miles since the reseal.  Engine ran perfectly when removed from the car. Leakdown #'s were under 3% per cylinder.  New spark plugs were installed after the leak down check.  The oil fill tube is cracked and will need to be replaced.  Alternator and starter appear original.    


Motor includes: intake manifolds/ throttle body/ power steering pump/ starter/ alternator/ coil packs/ fuel rails and injectors.  

I require a $2000 core charge, which will be refunded if a suitable, rebuildable core is returned.  

I require a $1000 deposit via PayPal, with the balance payable either via wire transfer or cashier's check within 5 business days.  

Shipping will be truck freight at the buyer's expense.  I will palletize the engine for shipment.

With new cars like the V40, a new range of 4-cylinder engines and a new design direction – previewed by the stunning Volvo Concept Coupe – the Swedes look to be on a roll.
