Front AND rear suspension for Porsche 911 996 Turbo, including H&K springs and Porsche shocks.
Upgrade your non-Turbo 911 with a 996 Turbo suspension, lowering it and increasing handling and performance.

These fit 996 Turbo models from 1999-2001.  They may fit later models, but please do your own research based on the numbers noted below.  Also, I do not know how to fit these to the standard Carreras, however, it is done very often (check on-line for information how to do this).

The markings on the shocks are as follows:

FRONT SHOCKS:

996 33 055 36; 04.09.2000; 1712350; F4BL5-2912-WO

996 333 055 36; 04.09.2000; 1712350; F4BL5-2912-WO

FRONT SPRINGS:  H&R 8/2000; 29-385HA – These are sport springs

REAR SHOCKS:

996 343 033 25; F4-VK3-4544-WO

996 343 043 25; F4-VK3-4545-WO

REAR SPRINGS:  H&R 8/2000; 29-385VA  (Sport springs)

If you are NOT a Porsche DIY mechanic, please do your own checking about proper fit and installation of these shocks from expert sources.

I bought these from an EBay auction by a major Porsche dismantler, and they purportedly had less than 40,000 miles.  I sold my 996 before performing the “transplant operation.”  The shocks are in very good condition, are undented, and have good compression

I have a very low starting price (prices for two, alone, are more than what I am asking for FOUR – a complete set).  New, this set would cost over $2200.

Note in regards to SHIPPING, this is a bulky and heavy package.

Approximate size of the shipping box will be about 23” x 20” x 10” and the weight is about 54lbs.  Any costs that exceed the exact shipping cost will be reimbursed to the buyer.

Key Words:  coilovers; shock absorbers; absorber; coilover; overs; Carrera; Targa; C4; C2; AWD

POLICIES – Please read and understand before bidding or leaving feedback.

RETURNS:  No problems with returns, HOWEVER, ONLY AFTER CONTACT WITH THE SELLER, will returns be accepted.  It is possible that shipping to and from the buyer may be charged, depending on the specifics for the return.

International Buyers – Please Note:

  • Because of unclear Import duties, taxes and other hidden charges, I do not want to sell to anyone outside the United States and Canada.  If you would like me to reconsider this, please email me..

·         REGARDING FEEDBACK:  I make every attempt to describe the item as clearly and as detailed as possible.  I will make attempts to ensure that the buyer is satisfied, but I’m not a saint and, like everyone, I do not like to be played.

·         EBay initiated a radically new Feedback system which penalize eBay sellers for any feedback scores that average 4.9 stars or less.  This certainly is an underhanded and "Back Door" tactic that eBay uses to grab more fees off the top of an eBay transaction – nothing gets remitted to the Buyer.

-       There is a 5% penalty if a seller averages less than 4.9 in ANY category, if ANY category is less than 4.8, the added fees are tripled

-       And if less than 4.6, even more fees and penalties are added.

-       Furthermore, if a seller does not maintain a 4.3 average, they get booted off eBay.

-       Please think about this before you post your ratings.  Do not be vindictive

·         As all sellers in eBay, the goal is to get a 5-star rating in each category for each transaction, and I do my best as a private citizen to meet that goal.  If I should screw up, please CONTACT ME FIRST and give me a chance to make it up to you in another way. Please do not allow eBay to squeeze an honest and well-intentioned seller. This ultimately will only add to the buyer's costs.

·         If there is anything you object to regarding my item description, policies, prices, products, S/H rates or time frames, please phone or email me, but please DO NOT BUY FROM ME until you are 100% agreeable and 100% understand the item being auctioned, AND, HAVE 100% OF THE MONEY TO PAY FOR THE ITEM.

·         Winning an auction is not the time for you to check your wallet, or to ask your wife for permission.  Do this all ahead of time.

Last, but most important, by monitoring the feedback continually, I will determine if a buyer leaves an unjustified low grade.  If this is the case, I will block that buyer from future purchases. There are people in cyberspace who are not very honorable.  If you are one of them and do me this injustice, there won't be a second chance.

Regarding Buyer Feedback, I leave feedback after receiving positive feedback from you.  As stated if there is a problem with the transaction, please email first to see if it is reasonable and it we can work it out first.

If after giving us feedback, you do not receive your feedback after seven days, please contact us.

Be sure to include the listing number on ALL correspondence.

MG CS SUV Concept heading for Shanghai Motor Show

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

MG are still struggling to make much of an impact on the car landscape, but one car that could change that is a funky urban crossover / SUV to give cars like the Nissan Juke a run for their money. That looked to be on the cards last year when MG turned up at the Beijing Motor Show with the MG Icon, an SUV.Crossover Concept that took the ‘Ugly but Cute’ style cues from the Juke but grafted on a nose that looked like it could have come from MG’s sports car past. The Icon was a decent effort – and even won an award for ‘Best Concept’ at Beijing from Autoweek – but it looks like MG has decided the design of the Icon was just a bit too radical, so they’ve toned it down with a new concept heading for this year’s Shanghai Motor Show – the MG CS Concept.

GM recalls Chevrolet Impala to inspect seatbelts

Fri, 15 Oct 2010

A problem with the way the front seatbelt webbing is attached to the anchor pretensioner has prompted General Motors to recall nearly 322,500 Chevrolet Impalas from the 2009 and 2010 model years. If the belt is not properly attached to the anchor, it could fail during a crash. Dealers will inspect the vehicles and properly install the belt webbing to the anchor pretensioner, if necessary.
