Porsche 911 CIS fuel dist. head for 3.2 or hot rod 3.0 engine. This was a proto type head for 1984 3.2 CIS engine that was not put into production because Motronic fuel injection was introduced in 1984 on the 3.2 engines. This is a new head that I bought in a lot of parts that came from the Reno Porsche depot years ago.If you have a over bored 3.0 or hot rod 3.2 CIS engine, this would work after the air fuel mixture was set correctly. With the cost of a stock 3.0 head at $3000 new and a rebuilt one at $1600.I was keeping this for a hot rod CIS engine that has not happened due to retirement.Part number is 6149/9706E.Ask any questions.E-mail or call 765 537 2798 USA shipping is free.

McLaren MP4-12C - Jezza on the Top Gear Track Update 4/7/2011: No, we don’t know what happened to Jeremy’s McLaren MP4-12C piece either. The BBC told us it was on, but instead we got James May and the Aston Martin Virage. Not that there’s anything wrong with May and an Aston, but we had our juices going for the McLaren.

Porsche Cayman Shooting Brake Fake +video

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

The fake Porsche Cayman Shooting Brake - rendered in Maya Turns out that it was all a bit of viral fun created by Jared Holstein, the outgoing editor of TopGear.com. He came up with the idea and got a bunch of Summer Interns in the States to do the donkey work. A digital design student called Matt DuVall used Maya (a digital 3D rendering programme) to create the original image (actually, I’ve been trying to master Maya for ever – must get some tips from Matt!) which incorporated lots of Porsche design themes, and even used a Porsche ‘Mule’ license plate.
