In any roomful of Detroit auto executives, the man most responsible for the dramatic interior improvements of Chrysler Group's vehicles stands out dramatically. Klaus Busse is tall and lanky with giant hands and an outsized smile. His standard attire is a light-gray windbreaker worn over a faded T-shirt and jeans.

GMC gives Acadia the Denali treatment

GMC is giving the Acadia crossover the Denali treatment, creating a new top trim level for the model lineup. The Acadia Denali goes on sale in fall 2010. Changes to the Acadia to create the Denali version include a chrome mesh grille, 20-inch wheels and tires, and redesigned front and rear bumper fascia.

Toyota studies a rear-drive entry for Scion

Scion vice president Jack Hollis is a former Stanford and AAA baseball player who, but for an injury, coulda been a contender, coulda played in the show. He's not one to boast--he didn't tell us of his baseball days, we got it from someone else. Nonetheless, you'd imagine the 6-foot-2-inch auto exec would have a pretty good self-image.
