Portland, Oregon, United States
Condition:Used

I bought a 65, 911 with a non-matching numbers 65 engine in it and parted it out and sold the parts (of the engine not the car), these pistons and cylinders were in there, the car didnt run, so I could not hear the engine and I dont know the mileage or history of this set. This is a used complete set of 2.0 911t and 914-6 pistons and cast iron cylinders, complete with rings, piston pins, etc. I inspected the cylinders and all of the fins are intact, no broken ones etc. Inside the pistons say "80v69", I believe these were made by Mahle. This set is sold "as is" no returns.

This is a no reserve auction starting at only $199.

Please see my other auctions for more great Porsche parts.

I'm offering various shipping options, these are heavy please check my shipping prices before bidding.

2010 BMW X6 M: Fast and fun--whatever the heck it is

Wed, 12 Aug 2009

Barreling around the racetrack, there's little lean entering the corners, plenty of thrust on exit and a monster amount of grip everywhere, and if it feels taxed at all, it's ever so briefly as the nose aims left and up from turn five for the steep climb out of the esses. Road Atlanta is plain ol' fast, and the BMW X6 M does well to keep pace, spilling gobs of power all over the track, blazing down the long back straight to nearly 140 mph, maneuvering like no two-and-half-ton pile of metal should. It's exhilarating stuff, to be sure, only we're left asking very many questions, and all of them are: Why?

BMW Toyota diesel engine deal not for Lexus

Sun, 18 Dec 2011

Lexus won't get BMW diesel engines despite the Toyota deal The deal for BMW to supply Toyota with diesel engines for its range in Europe will not extend to Lexus models. The deal for BMW to supply diesel engines to Toyota for Europe (and joint work on advanced lithium ion battery technology) makes a lot of sense. BMW’s diesel engine are possibly the best there are, and Toyota need good diesel offerings in Europe to mop up sales.

Bloodhound SSC – 1000mph World Record plan

Tue, 24 Nov 2009

The Bloodhound SSC – aims to hit 1,000mph   The current world record stands at a relatively measly 763mph (measly certainly in comparison to the target set by the Bloodhound SSC Team) and the technical obstacles the Bloodhound team has had to overcome to get their record attempt on target have been substantial. The Bloodhound design has gone through ten evolutions in the last year and has now settled on a plan that has overcome initial obstacles. The first evolution of the Bloodhound saw the 200kg rocket sat above the EJ200 Eurofighter Typhoon jet engine, but that didn’t develop sufficient thrust.
