Portland, Oregon, United States
Condition:Used

I bought a 65, 911 with a non-matching numbers 65 engine in it and parted it out and sold the parts (of the engine not the car), these pistons and cylinders were in there, the car didnt run, so I could not hear the engine and I dont know the mileage or history of this set. This is a used complete set of 2.0 911t and 914-6 pistons and cast iron cylinders, complete with rings, piston pins, etc. I inspected the cylinders and all of the fins are intact, no broken ones etc. Inside the pistons say "80v69", I believe these were made by Mahle. This set is sold "as is" no returns.

This is a no reserve auction starting at only $199.

Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R for 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Toyota As we predicted last week, Toyota will unveil a 400hp Yaris Hybrid-R supermini concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show next month after dedicating its appearance at the German auto expo to "the presentation of hybrid technology". The Japanese firm has been at the forefront of hybrid technology in the modern era with its eco-focused Prius family hatchback, but has also brought petrol-electric propulsion systems to the fore in top line world motorsport with its TS030 Le Mans racer. On Bing: see pictures of the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R Find out how much a used Toyota Yaris costs on Auto Trader Powered by Toyota’s 1.6-litre Global Racing Engine and supplemented by a pair of electric motors, the Yaris Hybrid-R actually uses similar technology to the firm’s hybrid Le Mans prototype, with kinetic energy recovered under breaking ‘stored’ in a super capacitor as electricity.

Is the DfT trying to nobble 80mph speed limit trials?

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

With trials proposed for an 80mph speed limit, the ABD are asking if the DfT are trying to fix the trials by running them on congested motorways. When the ConDems came to power, and Philip Hammond was made Transport Secretary, we did hope that might be a sign that government policy on cars would finally make sense, especially when Philip Hammond declared ‘The war on motorists is over‘. Philip’s aim was to look at stuff like national speed limits and create a system that made sense, rather than the silly situation we have where everyone knows you won’t get nicked for 85mph on a motorway unless plod got out of bed the wrong side.
