Car insurance premiums 'too high'

CAR INSURANCE premiums are too high and should be reduced through far-reaching reforms, the competition watchdog said today. The Competition Commission believes that too many drivers are footing the bill for unnecessary costs incurred during the claims process following an accident. These costs are initially borne by the insurers of at-fault drivers, but they feed through into increased insurance premiums for all drivers.

Citroen C4 Picasso five-seat

This is the new five-seat version of the C4 Picasso following the seven-seat model shown at the Paris Motor Show, which will now to be known as the Grand C4 Picasso. Naturally enough then, the two cars will compete with the standard and Grand Renault Scenics, the new Citroen C4 Picasso also tackling the handsome Volkswagen Golf Plus. Local Motors Texas Competition Results

Local Motors has announced the winners of the Texas Motor competition, the independent car company's 19th competition. Tasked with designing a vehicle that was a ready-made solution for sportsmen in the great state of Texas, entrants were asked to submit their creations via the Local Motors website. The winning design, selected by members of the Local Motors community, was created by Acatrinei Lucian Nicolae.
