Please read this auction carefully before placing your bid.

Up for auction is:  One Porsche workshop service manual.

Item info:  The Porsche manual is in okay condition.  It's not bad, but the pages are yellowing, some pages torn from the hole punches, and the last several pages have a wavy bend to them.  This might be a photocopy of the originals.  I have other Porsche manuals I'm selling in a different listing.  For Porsche 911, 1972 on.  This binder covers:

Section 4: Front Axle with front wheel alignment, steering wheel, and steering column.

Section 5: Rear Axle with rear wheel alignment and axle driveshafts.

Section 6: Brakes, Wheels, Tires with brake booster and master brake cylinder.

Section 7: Pedal Controls (accelerator, brake, and clutch) and Manual Controls (gear shift controls) with heater and hand throttle controls.

Section 0: Maintenance Jobs and Technical Data with specifications, service schedule, lubrication schedule, and preventive maintenance schedule.

Please do your own research on this item with the pictures provided.  I am not a Porsche expert, I just listed what was in the table of contents.  Hope you can use this in your restoration project.  Shipping cost factored into the auction price.  All parts are sold  as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS, EXCHANGES AND/OR REFUNDS. BUYER AGREES TO PURCHASE THE ITEM “AS IS”.

*I did not copied these manuals myself. I got these from an European repair shop that's been open since the early eighties. I picked up the manuals in mid 1990's and it's been sitting indoor in the den bookshelf ever since.

Included is:  One used Porsche service manual for Axles, Breaks, Pedal & Gear Shift Control, and Maintenance Specifications.

Tue, 23 Aug 2011

Click here to read the Ferrari 458 Spider CAR review The new Ferrari 458 Spider is an obvious, and inevitable, extension of the 458 Italia sports car range. Ferrari has always offered a fresh-air alternative to the junior V8 and we all knew it was coming. But the lack of surprise didn't stop the tongues drooling and eyes goggling when we clapped eyes on the new 458 Spider ahead of its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show.

Great mileage? King Midget did that 50 years ago

Tue, 13 Jul 2010

Again. "These cars will be the future kings of the road," said Petersen Automotive Museum director, and huge King Midget enthusiast, Dick Messer.

Concept Car of the Week: Italdesign Machimoto (1986)

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

The Machimoto might look and sound like a Japanese concept, but it was developed in Europe in the Turin-based Italdesign studio, and was based on a Volkswagen Golf GTI platform. The name actually derives from MACHIna (car in Italian) and MOTOciclo (motorcycle) as the perfect hybrid between the worlds of two- and four-wheelers. Unveiled on its home turf at the Turin motor show in 1986, it landed like a UFO, shocking both the public and the press.
