Chevrolet rolls out high-performance tires and wheels for the 2012 Corvette
Tue, 26 Apr 2011The introduction of high-performance tires and racing-style wheels for the Z06 and ZR1 models is the major change to the Chevrolet Corvette for the 2012 model year, according to information being posted at Corvette fan sites on the Internet. Info is leaking out as Chevy is set to officially talk about the 2012 Vette during the annual C5/C6 Bash fan event at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., this weekend. Look for some official news on April 28.
Charles Morgan to build rival cars
Wed, 27 Nov 2013Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. SEMA buys Performance Racing Industry
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) on Tuesday finalized plans to purchase Performance Racing Industry, and the transaction will close later this month. John Kilroy, who has experience as editor and associate publisher of PRI Magazine and as vice president of the organization, will continue to lead it. For now, according to representatives from SEMA, it's business as usual.
