Very little wear on gears.

 Rebuilt by GRC Inc. in business since 1979.
This trans has very little wear on the gear set. It is one of the best we have ever seen.
Very little wear  on the reverse idler which unusual for this model.
3rd 4th and 5th gear engagement teeth show no burring whatsoever.
1st and 2nd show a small amount. Normal for a trans this old.
The case was thoroughly washed inside and out, bead blasted and a fresh coat of silver applied to protect the magnesium.
All the clearances were checked and adjusted if necessary. Then re assembled with new gaskets and seals.
The gear ratios are:
1st 3.09
2nd 1.88
3rd 1.26
4th .92
5th .70
7 tooth pinion and 31 tooth ring gear
The rotation is correct for mid engine. It will work great in a light kit car with a mild v8.
This is the tail shift model. All internal shift rods also show no wear whatsoever.
It will be shipped in a double wall box packed in styro peanuts.

Mercedes-Benz, Duesenberg named winners at Concours d'Elegance of America

A 1933 Duesenberg Model SJ Riviera Phaeton Brunn and a 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Autobahn Kurrier took top honors at the Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's in suburban Detroit on Sunday. The event was formerly known as the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance, but it was moved this year from the grounds of Oakland University north of Detroit to Plymouth, a suburb west of the city.

The Toyota GT86 gets another dose of ‘Cheap Fun’ PR with the Drift Sprint competition featuring Keiichi Tsuchiya. Keiichi Tsuchiya is the ‘Drift King’ with his Toyota AE86 sliding and squirming in balletic slides as he makes it dance in a way cars just don’t.
