Nice set of 4 Porsche 914 Pedrini wheels. 15 x 5.5 inches. Made in Italy. Three wheels are date coded 2/71 (February 1971) and one is date coded 12/70 (December 1970). Porsche part number cast in back side of wheels 914 361 013 00 with VW logo and F.P.S. (Fratelli Pedrini Sarezzo). One wheel has minor damage (see photo). Thu, 29 Jul 2010Car Design News made its annual pilgrimage to Kensington Gore in central London for the opening of the prestigious Transport Design exhibition. Fifteen students graduated from the course this year all of whose work was viewed by a number of RCA alumni including Patrick Le Quément, David Wilkie and Peter Stevens. As with many of the college exhibitions this year, there was a clear emphasis on sustainability and the reinvention of the paradigms of ‘luxury' and ‘sportiness'.

Thu, 22 Dec 2011The folks at Ford released a video Christmas present this week featuring Ford Racing's Andy Vrenko hosting a complete walk-around of the company's latest turn-key race car, the Ford Focus ST-R. The latest spec racer is approved for competition in the Grand-Am ST, World Challenge TC and the Canadian Touring Car series (pending homologation approvals). The engine and transmission are production-based components from the street-legal Focus ST.

Thu, 10 Nov 2011Honda Small Sports EV Concept at Tokyo Home Motor Shows are car makers’ favourites, so with the Tokyo Motor Show just round the corner Honda has revealed plans for seven concepts at the show including a small electric roadster and a plug-in hybrid – the Honda AC-X. Honda’s display at the Tokyo Show is going to be the biggest of any car maker. The headline act – certainly from a petrolhead’s point of view – is probably going to be Honda’s Small Sport EV Concept.
